The Operations Support Officer provides day-to-day operational, systems, and administrative support to branches and internal stakeholders. This role is responsible for executing operational reviews, certification activities, system administration, issue resolution, reporting, and compliance-related support. The Operations Support Officer identifies operational risks and concerns, supports timely resolution of issues, and contributes to initiatives that improve operational consistency, efficiency, and member service.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day operational support to branches and internal stakeholders, ensuring timely and effective resolution of inquiries, requests, and operational issues.
  • Conduct branch observations, operational reviews, certifications, and follow-up activities to assess adherence to policies, procedures, and operational standards.
  • Administer and support assigned operational systems, applications, and related processes.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve operational and system-related issues, coordinating with business partners and vendors as needed.
  • Assist in the development, maintenance, and communication of operational procedures, job aids, and supporting documentation.
  • Maintain issue logs, documentation, operational records, and system data to ensure accuracy and timely follow-up.
  • Prepare, analyze, and distribute operational reports, identifying trends, exceptions, and areas requiring attention.
  • Participate in testing, system enhancements, process improvements, and project-related activities by providing operational feedback and support.
  • Identify policy, procedural, operational, or compliance concerns and escalate issues, risks, and recurring trends to leadership as appropriate.
  • Support audit requests, operational reviews, compliance activities, and remediation efforts.
  • Document findings, observations, recommendations, and operational concerns in a clear, accurate, and timely manner.
  • Partner with branch teams to promote operational consistency, procedural adherence, and effective operational practices.
  • Serve as a support resource for departmental and enterprise initiatives and projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications & Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in retail banking operations or branch support.
  • Demonstrated ability to efficiently handle operational issues.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.


Preferred Licenses

  • Driver's license and personal vehicle to travel to branches preferred.

 

Minimum Physical Requirements

  • Sitting for prolonged periods at a desk working on a computer.
  • Frequent prolonged meetings.
  • Standing for up to 8 hours per day on occasion.
  • Traveling to various branches on occasion.
  • Reaching, bending, twisting, turning on occasion.
  • Lifting, pulling, pushing, and carrying up to 30 pounds on occasion.

 

Benefits and Pay

The expected pay for the Operations Support Officer is $56,242.68 to $68,740.88 per year.


This pay reflects the compensation we reasonably expect to offer for this role based on typical qualifications and market data. Offered pay may vary depending on the candidate’s experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
