SMX is seeking a Tier 3 Unified Communications Engineer to provide Tier 3 engineering, administration, sustainment, and troubleshooting for Unified Communications, VTC, and conference room capabilities supporting classified and unclassified environments. The successful candidate will ensure secure, reliable collaboration services for Government mission operations.

This is a full-time onsite position in Ft. Bragg, NC.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Engineer, configure, operate, and maintain Cisco/Tandberg VTC and Unified Communications systems.
  • Provide Tier 3 troubleshooting, fault isolation, and root-cause analysis.
  • Schedule and support executive-level VTC sessions and conference services.
  • Develop SOPs, conduct site surveys, and recommend technical improvements.
  • Perform asset accountability, lifecycle management, and system security functions.
  • Support multi-classification VTC environments and bridge operations.
  • Train end users and IT staff on supported capabilities.

Required Skills, Experience & Education

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience).
  • 12–15 years of relevant experience.
  • Security+ (IAT Level II) or equivalent.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Experience with Cisco/Tandberg codecs, networking, and Microsoft Office.

Desired Skills/Experience

  • Army Intel experience.
