About The Position

Looking for your next locum tenens opportunity? Look no further! Our client in Hawaii is looking for a physician specializing in family practice to begin coverage in early November. Hours include 8a - 5p clinic shifts with some night and weekend call coverage. The selected locum will be handling routine exams, acute/chronic care, stitches, skin issues, breathing treatments, stabilization, and other family medicine cases. There is a chance for an extension with this opportunity. This facility uses Athenahealth EMR.

Provider Type Needed: Family Practice Physician

Schedule: 8a - 5p clinic shifts with some occasional night/weekend call coverage

Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Handle routine exams for pediatric and adult patients 

• Acute/Chronic disease management

• Manage stitches and skin issues 

• Provide breathing treatments and care

• Perform stabilization and help with ER transport  

• Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals 

• Maintain accurate and timely medical records using the Athenahealth system 

• Communicate effectively with patients' families and other healthcare providers 

• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures

Additional Information: 

• Hawaii medical license required 

• Experience in family medicine preferred 

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential
