Description

SUMMARY: 

The Bus Person prepares the dining room for use and ensures it is clean during shift.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Prepare the dining room for use, clean away used tableware and set tables for further use.
  • Refill salt and pepper shakers, fold napkins and all other related supplies.
  • Stock dishes and glasses, as required.
  • Ensure floors and carpets in restaurants are kept clean, as needed during shifts.


ADDITIONAL DUTIES


  • Serve water, coffee, bread and food, as required.
  • Replenish all food items, as needed.
  • Promote positive public relations.
  • Responsible for knowing all events in the property.
  • Attend all mandatory meetings and training.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
  • Display sensitivity to Native American Culture.
  • Operate within the parameters of the Little Creek Human Resource Policies, Departmental Policies and all other applicable regulations. 
  • Other duties may be assigned.


S.I.G.E. TRIBAL - STATE COMPACT & ACCOUNTING & INTERNAL CONTROL 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Responsible for Internal Control and Compact compliance regarding Casino Operations and ensure compliance with regulations of the Tribal Gaming Commission.

QUALIFICATIONS:


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 


Language Skills:

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.  
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.


Mathematical Skills:

  • Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.  
  • Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.


Reasoning Ability:

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.  
  • Requires basic mechanical skills, organizational skills and scheduling flexibility.  
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.



EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:


  • High school diploma or GED
  • Related experience is preferred


Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

  • Class II Gaming License issued from the Squaxin Island Gaming Commission 
  • Class 12 Mixologist Permit or Class 13 Alcohol Server Permit 
  • Current Washington State Food Worker Card
