Job Description Summary
The Sr. Systems Administration Engineer will serve as a key technical owner for all Hooksett site infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, and OTN. This role partners closely with shopfloor users, engineering, and site leadership to deploy, support, and continuously improve technical solutions that directly enable Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC). Responsibilities include day-to-day operations and lifecycle management, including issue resolution, root cause analysis, patching, upgrades/enhancements, and delivery of infrastructure projects.In this role, you will work at the intersection of IT/OT, hardware, software, and manufacturing operations, translating shopfloor and business needs into stable, secure, and high-performing solutions. You will support and improve manufacturing technologies such as machine connectivity, industrial I/O, sensors, IoT-enabled devices, and network maintenance and upgrades. The role also requires the ability to work effectively with electronic hardware, take a proactive approach to hands-on troubleshooting, and read and interpret networking schematics to support troubleshooting, integration, and implementation.

Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Lead the support and continuous improvement of Hooksett site infrastructure (network, servers/virtualization, storage, OTN) serving shopfloor and engineering operations, ensuring availability, performance, and lifecycle health.
Serve as the technical owner for compute and infrastructure services, improving incident resolution, complex request fulfillment, and change execution.
Influence and improve site infrastructure designs, architectures, standards, and methods, partnering as needed with DT as well as business and production stakeholders.
Plan and execute releases and changes (patches, upgrades, enhancements) with impact assessment, mitigation/rollback plans, and stable transitions to production.
Proactively prevent site interruptions through monitoring, capacity planning, lifecycle management, and risk posture improvements.
Identify systemic design/architecture gaps and drive corrective actions and prevention.
Develop and implement standard work and documentation to eliminate repetitive tasks, reduce repeat incidents, and improve supportability.
Enable connected manufacturing by deploying and supporting machine connectivity, industrial I/O, sensors, IoT devices, data acquisition, and equipment-to-application integrations.
Troubleshoot end-to-end across network, compute, hardware interfaces, and connected equipment; perform root cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions.
Partner within DT and cross-functionally with engineering, business, and production users to deliver new capabilities and steady-state support aligned to SQDC.
Oversee system health and ensure alignment with architecture, site standards, and cybersecurity expectations.
Work independently on projects while contributing broadly across the team, managing scope, priorities, and execution deadline.
Education Qualification
Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 4 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 7 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 9 years of professional experience
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in IT
Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience

Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting network and server infrastructure in a shop floor or manufacturing environment.
Experience with industrial networking (switches, routers, firewalls, VLANs, WAN/LAN) including hands-on troubleshooting, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, Network Security.
Experience enabling connected manufacturing technologies such as machine connectivity, industrial I/O, sensors, and equipment integration.
Experience troubleshooting hardware-connected systems in manufacturing and IT/OT environments.
Experience managing Azure, Entra ID, MS 365, MS Intune, Active Directory, OT/OTN, Windows Server environments, and Power Shell.
Experience implementing and supporting machine monitoring and management tools (e.g., OpsVision) and ITIL (SNOW/ADT).
Ability to apply technical standards and architecture concepts to both operational support and project delivery.
