 Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver

Position Overview


Haven Services, with Ken Neyer Plumbing, is seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver to support daily warehouse operations and ensure timely delivery of materials to job sites. This role is essential to keeping our field teams equipped and projects running efficiently.

 Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations


  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming plumbing materials, tools, and equipment against purchase orders 
  • Accurately stock, label, and organize inventory within the warehouse and yard 
  • Maintain real-time inventory tracking and assist with cycle counts and audits 
  • Pull and stage materials for upcoming jobs based on work orders and technician needs 
  • Manage returns, damaged goods, and vendor exchanges


Delivery & Logistics

  • Load, transport, and deliver materials to residential and commercial job sites using a company flatbed truck or van 
  • Safely secure loads in compliance with DOT and company safety standards 
  • Plan efficient delivery routes to support multiple job sites and minimize downtime 
  • Communicate delivery status with dispatch, office staff, and field technicians

Construction & Plumbing Support

  • Ensure job site materials are complete, organized, and ready for installation teams 
  • Assist with loading/unloading heavy plumbing equipment such as water heaters, piping, fixtures, and HVAC-related materials 
  • Support field crews with material handling and occasional on-site assistance when needed 
  • Track material usage and notify management of shortages or reordering needs 

Warehouse Maintenance & Safety

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and yard environment 
  • Operate forklifts and other equipment safely (training provided if needed) 
  • Follow OSHA safety guidelines and company policies at all times 
  • Perform basic maintenance on tools, vehicles, and warehouse equipment 
  • Assist with seasonal organization, inventory resets, and shop upkeep

Requirements

  Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL not required; preferred for future growth) 
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs consistently and perform physically demanding tasks 
  • Previous warehouse, construction, plumbing, or delivery experience preferred 
  • Forklift experience a plus (or willingness to be trained) 
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills 
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team 
  • Basic understanding of plumbing or construction materials is a plus
