About this Role

Quanta Power Solutions is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior CSA (Civil, Structural & Architectural) Estimator to lead the preparation of accurate and competitive cost estimates for utility, power delivery, renewable energy, substation, transmission, and industrial infrastructure projects. This role is responsible for developing comprehensive CSA estimates during all phases of project development, supporting proposal efforts, and collaborating with engineering, construction, procurement, and operations teams to ensure successful project execution.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical construction knowledge with advanced estimating expertise and the ability to analyze project risks, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support strategic business growth.

  • Develop conceptual, budgetary, and definitive estimates for projects ranging from early development through construction execution.
  • Prepare bid summaries, estimate reviews, pricing assumptions, and executive management presentations.
  • Identify project risks, opportunities, contingencies, and constructability considerations.
  • Collaborate with engineering, project management, construction, procurement, and business development teams during proposal preparation.
  • Support value engineering initiatives and recommend cost-effective construction solutions.
  • Maintain current market intelligence related to labor rates, material pricing, equipment costs, and subcontractor capabilities.
  • Participate in estimate reviews, bid strategy sessions, and client-facing discussions as needed.
  • Assist with estimating process improvements, benchmarking, and development of company cost databases.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior estimators and estimating staff.
