At Regions, the Wealth Management Centralized Trading Manager executes Wealth Management’s strategic priorities through tactical oversight, management, operations, and design of centralized trading for Asset Management and other portions of Wealth Management.  This role manages a team of Centralized Trading Analysts and serves as the subject matter expert on trading systems and processes. This position drives continual efficiencies and enhancements to the trading process and systems to meet the needs of clients and the organization.

Primary Responsibilities
Leads and oversees operations, training, and the development of the Centralized Trading group through proactively estimating personnel developmental needs, assigning work, meeting completion dates, and interpreting and ensuring the consistent application of organizational policies
Oversees trading of the team’s client portfolios, ensuring timely and accurate trades
Operates as a strategic partner for senior management, Portfolio Managers, and Analysts by proactively developing and executing transformational strategies to increase overall trading efficiency and enhance risk mitigation
Executes on technical and non-technical initiatives, while identifying continuous improvement opportunities
Initiates, maintains, monitors, and executes required actions to effect security transactions in accounts where given trading authority; rebalances, raises and invests cash, implements model changes, and liquidates accounts as required
Supports Portfolio Managers, Private Wealth Management (PWM) Trust Advisors, and Relationship Consultants with the implementation of investment policies, unique trade requests, and actions developed by the Investment Working Group
Provides investment advice and guidance to PWM Trust Advisors and Relationship Consultants through developing client investment objectives and investment policy statements, monitoring portfolio risks, and effecting trades within client portfolios
Executes on the trading platform with expert-level knowledge, participates in the testing of quarterly software updates, detects and elevates system issues to the trading platform vendor, and provides training to Regions Asset Management Portfolio Managers regarding functionality
Participates in developing ideas and executing practices to increase overall trading efficiency and enhance risk mitigation for the Asset Management business unit
Possesses a deep understanding of Asset Managements’ best thinking and model creation, current asset allocation and tactical allocations in RAM's Mutual Fund and Manager Models and Central Trading Group (CTG) firm level fulfillment models
May serve as a system/user interface owner, managing the prioritization of the product development roadmap

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree
Six (6) years of experience in investment, asset management, business, finance, marketing or other related industries/experience

Compensation Details
Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
