The New York PDC Unit Leader is responsible for Second Shift warehouse operational activities, hourly represented and salaried personnel, parts inventory, and customer satisfaction to nearly 335 Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram, FIAT and Stellantis US dealerships that receive daily deliveries. The PDC Second Shift consists of 50 hourly represented personnel. This fast-paced role will champion team building and use exceptional leadership skills to achieve PDC metrics, utilizing the Stellantis Parts Distribution System (SPDS) methodology. The candidate needs to have a thorough knowledge of operational processes for warehousing, logistics, packaging and multitask in a fast-paced production environment. This candidate must have the ability to communicate at multiple levels and to customers - both internal and external. We're looking for someone who can relate to, and address customer needs and problems in accordance with the Company business process, interface with dealers and business centers daily, and adapt to unexpected events and changing requirements.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • 3+ years of experience in supervisory in a distribution warehouse environment
  • Knowledge of Continuous Improvement systems and Lean Manufacturing experience
  • Experience managing day to day operations within a union environment.
  • Ability to develop analysis to improve on current standard processes.
  • Driven to seek solutions to improved performances.
  • Possess a high sense of urgency to the customer and plant KPI’s.
  • Must be willing to work extended weekday hours and weekends across day/evening shifts, as required.
  • Must be willing to relocate.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or other related degree
  • Master's degree
