We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Clinical Research Financial Specialist to join our team and play a vital role in the success of our studies.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Invoicing
  • Reconciliation of all payments and charges for each study
  • Apply payments for procedures/visits within the CTMS system
  • Maintain financial binders (CDAs, CTAs, Budgets, 1099s, and more)
  • Work on contracts and budgets with management staff
  • Work closely with team members to assist where needed
  • Quality checks on confidential information
  • Communicating with patients and/or sponsors daily
  • Maintaining email communications throughout the business day
  • Work on several portals at a time required by the sponsors
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager, Coordinator and Primary Investigator to streamline financial process
  • Obtaining required signatures in a timely manner
  • Back-up to the Regulatory Specialist and work with them to ensure tasks are complete in a timely manner during their time away (printing, scanning, emailing, and more)
  • Communicate financial information to staff, clients, or stakeholders
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures
  • Manage financial systems and databases, ensuring data integrity
  • Experience in Clinical Conductor and/or Microsoft Office is a plus

Qualifications:

  • Experience in finance, accounting, business administration or related field is generally required. (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools, databases, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA and GCP (Good Clinical Practice) guidelines is a plus.
