Credit Analyst

 

Established in 1987, Triad Metals is a privately held, independent company that has grown to become one of the premier wholesale distributors and processors of structural steel, tubing, pipe, piling and plate products. With six locations in the United States and Canada, Triad metals is actively hiring for a Credit Analyst for our office located in Horsham, Pennsylvania.

Triad is looking for a motivated individual to join their Credit Department. A Credit Analyst evaluates the creditworthiness of businesses by analyzing financial information, assessing risk, and making recommendations on whether to approve credit terms. They help minimize financial risk while supporting profitable lending decisions.

Successful Candidates will be expected to:

  • Analyze financial statements, tax returns, business credit reports and trade references.
  • Assess borrowers' ability to repay for materials delivered and identify credit risks.
  • Prepare detailed credit analysis reports and credit line recommendations.
  • Conduct financial ratio analysis and risk assessments.
  • Monitor of existing customer portfolios.
  • Contact customers to collect past-due balances and reduce the overall risk of bad debt.
  • Review application documentation for accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist with investigating and resolution of payment discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and economic factors affecting borrowers.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration.
  • 2–5 years of experience in credit analysis, commercial banking, or financial analysis.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and general accounting principles.
  • Knowledge of lending practices and risk management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
