You'll work closely with the Branch Manager and team, providing essential administrative support while helping deliver outstanding service to our customers.

The Excavation Coordinator provides administrative support to the Branch Manager and Sewer Division team by performing a variety of administrative functions with a high level of organization, accuracy, and independence. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys multitasking, problem-solving, and contributing to a collaborative team environment.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate permits, inspections, and Miss Utility requests to ensure excavation projects are completed on time and in compliance with local requirements
  • Serve as a key point of contact for customers, addressing questions, resolving concerns, and providing updates throughout the project lifecycle
  • Process and maintain job documentation, permits, excavation folders, and related records with a high degree of accuracy
  • Schedule and support excavation crews by ensuring they have the necessary permits, job information, and resources to complete work efficiently
  • Coordinate with local jurisdictions, utility companies, field teams, and internal departments to resolve issues and keep projects moving forward
  • Maintain scheduling systems, spreadsheets, and databases to track project status, crew assignments, permits, and compliance requirements
  • Assist with crew scheduling, timekeeping, reporting, and administrative support functions
  • Support Sales Coordinators and other departments as needed to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

 

What We're Looking For

  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally with customers, field teams, utility providers, and local agencies
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt quickly and prioritize changing business needs
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including intermediate Excel skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
  • Experience in office administration, scheduling, project coordination, or operations support
  • Residential home services, construction, excavation, or permitting experience preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 3 years of administrative or office support experience preferred

 

Schedule: 
Monday-Friday 6:30 AM -2:30 PM 
 Onsite – no remote or hybrid. 


Pay Range: 
 $25.00-$30.00 /hr
