Lakeside Educational Network is seeking a passionate Special Education Teacher to join the team at our Lakeside School Campus in Horsham, Pennsylvania. This role involves working with middle and high school students who require learning and emotional support. We are looking for a Special Education Teacher who is a dedicated professional with a desire to create a supportive and trauma-informed educational environment.
Special Education Teacher Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Special Education Teacher may include:
- Teaching or co-teaching classes for students with diverse learning needs.
- Managing resource room support to provide individualized and small-group instruction.
- Serving as an IEP case manager, which includes developing, implementing, and monitoring student plans.
- Collaborating with colleagues, administrators, and parents to support student success.
Special Education Teacher Benefits & Compensation:
- Job Type: Full-time
- Pay: $47,000.00 - $61,000.00 per year, commensurate with experience.

Requirements
Special Education Teacher Qualifications
- PA Special Education Teaching Certification is required.
- Certification at the secondary level is preferred.
- Candidates must have experience or a desire to work in a trauma-informed environment with students who have faced challenges in their educational journey.
