ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

                     Observes mechanical devises in operation and views and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.

                     Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.

                     Repairs or replaces defective parts.  Install special functional and structural parts in devises.  Lubricates and cleans parts.

                     Start devices to test their performance.

                     Set up and operate drill press, grinder, and other metal working tools to repair parts.

                     Provide technical support to internal staff and customers by answering questions, over 800 line and e-mailing breakdowns, etc.

                     Provide assistance to walk in customers at the service counter.  Must have effective rapport with customer in person, as well as, via telephone.

                     Handles cash, and credit cards etc. on account sales.

                     Prepares tool reports as required.

                     Helps maintain and sell additional stock.

                     Cleans and organizes work area on a daily basis.

                     Adjusts functional parts or devices and control instruments.

                     Inspects used parts to determined changes in dimensional requirements.

                     Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.

                     Assists warehouse with modification of tools when needed.

                     Assists warehouse in shipping when needed.

                     Assist with physical inventories.

                     Assist with other department when needed.
