This role combines visionary leadership of engineering and maintenance functions and a hands-on approach in a small but critical site for the business. This would be a great role for early-career candidates with 3-8 years in manufacturing plant and who aspire to lead engineering and maintenance organizations at bigger facilities in the future.

Key responsibilities
ā¢āāLead engineering masterplan for the site and execute smaller (less than $100,000) capital projects.
ā¢āāEnd-to-end responsibility for capital execution (scope, budget, schedule and risk management).
ā¢āāRegularly communicates to stakeholders within and outside the plant on project status.
ā¢āāLead and coach the maintenance department.
ā¢āāParticipate in developing and documenting maintenance plans for equipment as assigned. For example, determining work description, parts and tools required to complete plans, and how often maintenance is necessary to maintain a particular piece of equipment.
ā¢āāAccurate and thorough documentation of all work performed using maintenance tracking system and/or technical reports (e.g. log books and work orders).
ā¢āāPlanning schedules in SAP, ordering parts, and managing work schedules.
ā¢āāRespond to equipment breakdowns both major and minor events. Response includes getting a description of the issue, prioritizing the repair, and taking actions with appropriate resources.
ā¢āāResolve machine problems with effective troubleshooting using inside and outside support (e.g. parts mfg, material, mfg, machine mfg, etc.)
ā¢āāPerform preventative, predictive, and diagnostic maintenance on production and facility equipment on a scheduled and/or required basis depending on the needs of the production facility.
ā¢āāResearch and procurement of new materials, parts and supplies to improve equipment and resolve ongoing issues. Items such as writing work orders,Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā contacting vendors, and installing parts on the machine.
ā¢āāGeneral support of plant production and quality as assigned by Plant Leadership.
ā¢āāAttend all safety meetings, report any safety incidents/accidents and understand and follow all Company and Plant Safety policies and Procedures.
ā¢āāSupport for the SQF 2000 System.
ā¢āāTrained in the Kerry HACCP program to identify critical steps and their instructions critical to effective implementation and maintenance of the Food Safety Plan.
ā¢āāParticipate as a member of the food safety team.

ā¢āāEngineering degree or diploma in a relevant area (e.g., mechanical, chemical, electrical) is preferred
ā¢āāPrevious maintenance supervisory experience preferred.
ā¢āāProject management of greater than $100,000 capital preferred.
ā¢āāKnowledge of SAP is preferred.
ā¢āāDemonstrates communication, organization, and listening skills.
ā¢āāExcellent attention to detail, neatness, and follow through.
ā¢āāAbility to organize and handle multiple tasks.
ā¢āāHas basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Suite)

The typical hiring range for this role is $70,100 - $122,000 annually and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc. In addition to your pay, Kerry offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and retirement contribution (all benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements).
