As an MRI Technologist, you will be a vital member of our healthcare team, contributing to the mission of making communities healthierĀ® through advanced diagnostic imaging. Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate and high-quality MRI examinations in alignment with departmental protocols, professional standards, and safety regulations, including proper patient positioning and parameter selection.
- Review patient histories and provider orders to confirm appropriate imaging, ensure patient safety, and uphold scope of practice.
- Provide clear, empathetic patient education and preparation to promote comfort, cooperation, and understanding throughout the imaging process.
- Administer contrast media and medications as prescribed, monitor patient status during procedures, and respond promptly to any changes.
- Assess image quality, make necessary adjustments or repeat scans to optimize results, and ensure thorough and accurate documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment in accordance with regulatory and safety standards.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited imaging program (required)
- Associateās Degree (preferred)
- ARRT certification (required)
- MRI certification (preferred)
- Arkansas State Radiation Operators License (required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
- Minimum of 5 years of MRI experience (preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and sound clinical judgment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure clinical environments
- Exceptional attention to detail with a steadfast commitment to accuracy and patient safety
- Demonstrated compassion and a patient-centered care approach
