Pool Maintenance Engineer

Overview:

This role will ensure that our resort pools are well-maintained and reflects an image of outstanding quality.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain all pools, spas, and fountains in resort.

• Maintain safe and proper water chemistry levels in all water features

• Maintain all equipment associated with pools, spas, and fountains

• Receive direction for calls via radio.

• Assist engineers and mechanics with repairs.

• Clean all work areas after completing job.

• Fill out Daily Work form.

• Have a thorough understanding of Omni fire alarm procedures and other emergencies.

• Have a thorough understanding of Omni House rules and regulations

• Access computer-based building automation system

• Adjust house music levels using house music controls/ fitness room and pool

• Troubleshoot a pool and spa heaters

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of Synergy Program

• Working knowledge of all pool equipment and water chemistry

• Maintain proper inventories of all pool related supplies and chemicals

• Exterior and Interior of hotel. Exposure to extreme hot and cold temperatures. 

• High school or equivalent education required.

• Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs.

• Must have a flexible availability, to include mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

• Valid driver's license.

• Excellent driving record.

• Ability and willingness to work outdoors in inclement weather including rain, snow, wind, and extreme heat.

• Must be willing to subject to a drug screen and MVR background check.
