We are seeking a Weddings and Event Services Manager to join our team—someone passionate about crafting exceptional wedding experiences while supporting a diverse portfolio of group events. Principle Purpose of Job
The Weddings and Event Services Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, upselling, and executing weddings and group events as assigned. This role serves as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the planning process and ensures seamless execution on-site. The position may also assist the Sales and Banquets teams as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Own all planning communication and documentation for assigned weddings and group events, including internal and external correspondence.
- Maintain current, in-depth knowledge of all Ranch offerings, pricing, and event strategies.
- Conduct site tours, planning meetings, menu tastings, and wedding consultations.
- Maximize revenue opportunities by upselling food and beverage, activities, spa services, lodging enhancements, and retail offerings.
- Communicate all event details clearly and accurately to operational teams through Group Resumes, Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), and other necessary channels.
- Foster strong, collaborative relationships across all departments to ensure seamless execution.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to clients, guests, and internal teams.
- Actively engage with clients while on property, ensuring events are executed to expectations and details outlined in BEOs and Group Resumes.
- Review banquet checks and final billing with clients as needed; partner with Accounting on invoicing.
- Prepare post-event follow-up communications, including thank-you notes and satisfaction surveys.
- Support the overall success of the Sales & Events team with additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of hospitality event planning/management experience, preferably in a full-service resort environment.
- At least 1 year of wedding planning experience preferred.
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with ResortSuite or similar Sales & Catering software preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
- Outgoing, personable, and client-focused approach.
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation Description:
$58,000 - $65,000/year Competitive pay commensurate with education and experience. This is a full-time position with an expectation of working 50 hours a week on average.

Due to the nature of our 24-hour operation, there is no guaranteed work schedule. Managers will try to accommodate specific schedule requests, but they are never guaranteed if business volume prohibits.
