Auditing accounts to ensure they comply with the company’s policy regulations and the nation’s laws. Evaluating the company’s financial transactions to ensure they comply with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Performs routine accounting activities such as maintenance of general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliation of accounts and monthly reporting utilizing the company specific accounting program. Research AP/AR issues and make necessary adjustments and or recommendations to resolve the issues. Acts as a liaison with other departments to adjust or reconcile financial data. Ability to work as part of a team and exercise tolerance and consistency when dealing with others. Must be disciplined enough to work tight deadlines. Ensure all OSHA regulated specific safety training is current. Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness and compiles with all Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines. Promotes and takes an active part in the quality improvement process. Associate’s degree in Finance or Accounting preferred or Minimum of 4-6 years of AP/AR experience.
Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm
