- Operate and maintain well testing equipment, including pressure gauges, temperature recorders, and sampling apparatus, to measure and record data during testing operations.
- Rig up and rig down well testing equipment before and after operations, ensuring safe and efficient setup and dismantling of all components.
- Monitor well performance and fluid properties, such as flow rates and pressure, adjusting equipment settings to optimize test results.
- Collect fluid samples from wells for analysis, ensuring samples are properly labeled, stored, and transported according to industry standards.
- Interpret test data to determine reservoir characteristics and performance, providing detailed reports and recommendations to engineers and other stakeholders.
- Implement safety protocols and emergency procedures to minimize risks and respond to accidents or unexpected conditions during testing operations.
- Coordinate with other field personnel, including engineers and drilling teams, to ensure testing operations align with overall project objectives and schedules.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on well testing equipment, identifying and resolving issues to prevent downtime and ensure continuous operation.
