What will I be doing?

ü Monitor and review grant expenditures to ensure compliance with grant guidelines and regulations for various State and Federal funded grants

ü Enter and maintain project budgets, budget amendments, and budget adjustments; monitor expenses versus budgets to assist program staff with project oversight

ü Prepare and submit timely requests for reimbursements to grantor agencies

ü Prepare and submit grant manual billings and monthly adjusting journal entries as needed

ü Prepare and submit timely interim and final closeout financial reports to grantor agencies

ü Maintain monthly grant schedule of expenditures and monthly grant AR reconciliation for assigned grants

 

Key Qualifications

ü Knowledge of Governmental Accounting principles

ü Strong verbal and written communication skills

ü Detail oriented

ü Ability to accurately perform multiple tasks & prioritize deadlines

ü Proficient in Microsoft Office software applications

 

Do you have…

ü Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or closely related business field

ü 3 years of experience working with local government and/or nonprofit programs
