Join Weatherford as a Repair & Maintenance Technician in this hands-on role where you'll apply specialized techniques to inspect, repair, and maintain critical field tools. You'll be responsible for the complete lifecycle of equipment maintenance, from receiving and dismantling tools to diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and preparing equipment for their next deployment in the field.

 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Receive, dismantle, repair, and refurbish field tools and equipment with precision

  • Follow detailed technical manuals, procedures, and work instructions

  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify issues and perform necessary maintenance

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose complex problems with specialized tools and equipment

  • Monitor equipment performance and conduct quality control analysis

  • Prepare tools for assembly, repair, or modifications with attention to detail

  • Operate tools and machinery efficiently and effectively

  • Visualize assembly and repair processes to ensure proper execution

 

Skills and Education

  • Experience handling hazardous materials, radioactive elements, and explosives

  • Knowledge of NDT, NDE, and ATEX policies and principles

  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities

  • Critical thinking and complex problem-solving abilities

  • Active learning and listening skills

  • Excellent reading comprehension and written communication

  • Sound judgment and decision-making aligned with company procedures

  • Quality control analysis expertise

  • Information ordering and task prioritization abilities

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 0-2 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry

  • Previous experience with maintenance and repair of industrial equipment

  • Technical certifications related to equipment maintenance

  • Experience with quality control processes
