The Commercial Banking Relationship Manager I is responsible for developing and managing a diversified banking products and services portfolio. This includes identifying and marketing lending opportunities, coordinating, and participating in loan structuring, underwriting, origination, servicing; and engaging in full cycle relationship management and cross selling cash management, merchant, and wealth management opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
路聽聽Identifies business development opportunities with prospects or current customers; markets and provides counsel on the Bank鈥檚 credit and cash management products and services.
路聽聽Responsible for sourcing and independently generating 50%25 or more of new business.
路聽聽Collects application documents, works with the credit analysts to assess client鈥檚 financial condition; determines credit risk and makes loan structuring and underwriting decisions within approval authority or seeks appropriate joined approval authority; coordinates closing and the completion and review of final documents.
路聽聽Serves as Relationship Manager by providing ongoing customer service support and guidance to existing and new clients and client decision makers; maintains up-to-date client files, manages renewals, and processes servicing requests such as collecting past due payments, exception clearing, responding to information inquiries and facilitating transfer and draw requests.
路聽聽Maintains current and in-depth knowledge on banking and lending products, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, as well as market and industry activities and trends.

路聽聽Excellent external and internal customer service and relationship management skills with the ability to convey a positive attitude and maintain a high degree of confidentiality, diplomacy, tact, and salesmanship.
路聽聽Proficient sales, negotiating and implementation skills
路聽聽Proven ability to effectively promote all bank products and services.
路聽聽Excellent written and verbal communication skills with effective+ sales acumen.
路聽聽Strong practical knowledge of commercial banking and lending products, policies, procedures, regulatory guidelines, and market trends.
路聽聽Developed critical thinking and decision-making skills with the ability to interpret and analyze financial and credit information.
路聽聽Excellent organizational skills with proven ability to prioritize and manage workload and to instill a sense of urgency in others as necessary to meet deadlines.
路聽聽Solid technology skills, including ability to navigate and search related websites, and intermediate proficiency with Microsoft office (Excel, Office, Word, and SharePoint) and banking software applications (Bancline, Mozart).
Minimum Qualifications/Experience:
路聽聽2-4 years of Commercial Lending experience required.
路聽聽Credit Analyst training either through a formal bank program or direct work experience required.
路聽聽Bank Portfolio Management experience required.
路聽聽Proficient knowledge of cash/treasury management products and services preferred.
路聽聽Prior sales experience with individual sales goals where goals were met or exceeded routinely, preferred.
Formal Education & Certification:
路聽聽Bachelor鈥檚 Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Accounting or related field preferred.
Work Status:
路聽聽Full-Time.
Supervisory Responsibility:
路聽聽0 - 2 direct reports.
Travel:
路聽聽Up to 10%25 travel is expected, with more travel possible depending on clients.
Working Conditions:
路聽聽Conditions involve lifting no more than ten pounds, sitting most of the time, but may involve walking, moving, or standing for brief periods, and occasionally lifting and carrying articles like files, folders, etc.
