We are seeking a Facilities Technician II to be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient operation of the facility and facility infrastructure systems. This is achieved by the Facilities Technician coordinating and performing the required preventative and corrective maintenance to the facility and facility equipment. This role reports to the Site Maintenance & Systems Manager and supports the entire facility which includes office, laboratory, and GMP manufacturing cleanroomsÂ

Schedule: 15:00 – 24:00; Monday to Friday; On-site, Weekend and Holiday work Required. Â

What You’ll Do:Â
As a Facilities Technician II, you will play a key role in supporting our facilities team: Â
Execute Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to complete work orders as required per maintenance schedules. Document work performed in accordance with Immatics documentation requirements. Â
Work with and escort qualified contractors performing work on or within the facilities.Â
Interpret drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and specifications in planning and performing maintenance and repairs.Â
Monitor the facility via physical examination, building automation system (BAS) and the continuous monitoring system (CMS). The Facilities Technician will help coordinate and execute the response to equipment that is operating outside of normal parameters. Â
Support equipment moves, room and area setups along with supporting any operations changes that need to occur in the facility.Â
Assess multiple simultaneous requirements and prioritize execution based on impact of the company’s operations.Â
 Secondary Functions: Â
Perform construction projects as necessary to facilitate the installation of new equipment and systems in offices, labs, and GMP areas.Â
Collaborate with departments to manage schedules necessary to perform any necessary facility work in a satisfactory time frame and manner.Â
Â
Required Experience and Education:Â
High school diploma or GED CertificateÂ
Five (5) years of related field experience in facilities maintenance.Â
Familiar with: HVAC, electrical systems, pressure cascades, building automation systems, temperature/humidity relationships, and waste management. Â
The ability to read, understand, and follow work instructions and SOPs.Â

Preferred Experience and Education: Â
Experience in biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.Â
Experience operating inside cleanroom and laboratory environments.Â
Familiar with laboratory equipment such as incubators, refrigerator/freezers, and centrifuges.Â
