Job Summary:

1 Resource Group is looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join our production team. You’ll operate and program CNC machines to produce precision turbine parts, following exact specifications and quality standards. If you take pride in precision, can troubleshoot machine issues on the fly, and want to be part of a company that values your craftsmanship, this job is for you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines to produce turbine components per engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files accurately.
  • Inspect finished parts using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain accurate production and quality records.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to improve processes and product quality.
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.

  • Steam and or blade turbine experience
  • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Proficiency with CNC operation of CNC milling and turning machines.
  • Skilled in using precision measuring instruments.
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in machining is a plus.
  • 4 or 5 axis experience.
