Client Development Representative

Position Summary
 

The Client Development Representative is responsible for generating new business opportunities and fueling the growth of PERS by Ambipar’s emergency response information services This role focuses on outbound prospecting; primarily cold calling to introduce our solutions to safety, compliance, environmental, and other professionals across industries such as manufacturing, transportation, energy and chemicals.

The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator, a confident cold caller, and a driven sales professional eager to contribute to a mission that supports environmental safety and emergency preparedness

  • Pay: Hourly
  • Compensation: Commensurate with Experience

Essential Functions

  • Conduct high-volume outbound cold calls and emails daily to identify and engage potential clients within target markets.
  • Educate prospective customers on PERS by Ambipar’s services with clarity, professionalism, and enthusiasm.
  • Qualify leads through research and conversations to assess fit, needs, authority, and decision-making timelines.
  • Set qualified appointments and product demonstrations.
  • Maintain accurate records of calls, leads, and outcomes in CRM system.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales leadership to refine messaging, improve lead targeting, and optimize outreach strategies.
  • Follow up with warm leads and nurture them through the sales funnel.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed weekly and monthly metrics for outreach, meetings booked, qualified opportunities, and sales targets.
  • Prepare proposals, presentations, and other materials that may be sent to prospects.
  • Stay current on emergency response regulations, industry standards, and competitor offerings to effectively position PERS by Ambipar’s value.
  • Assist customer service manager with inside sales duties as needed.

Minimum Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in a sales development, inside sales, or cold-calling role – Ideally in B2B.
  • Proven success in high-volume outbound calling environments.
  • Strong communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills.
  • Confident and professional phone presence with the ability to engage decision-makers.
  • Highly organized and self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience working with CRM systems and sales engagement tools.
  • Resilient and competitive mindset with a passion for learning and growth.
  • Intermediate level skills with Microsoft Office products

Preferred Job Requirements

  • Experience selling to industries such as chemical manufacturing and distributors, logistics and transportation firms, hazardous waste handlers, import/export businesses of regulated materials.
