We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Field Engineer will be responsible for field verifying units, ensuring all casework and millwork are built correctly and fit perfectly according to the contract specifications. This role requires an eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage data and documentation.                      

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site visits to verify that units are built per contract specifications.
  • Assess the current condition of job sites and ensure readiness for verification.
  • Take accurate field measurements and document them appropriately.
  • Coordinate with General Contractors to schedule site visits and gather site-specific details.
  • Build positive relationships to facilitate smooth information exchange and collaboration.
  • Documentation of each unit, noting dimensions on drawings or directly on photos.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data management to support the next phase of project updates.
  • Utilize effective communication skills to gather and share necessary information for project success.


Requirements

  • 1+ years of construction experience required. 
  • Beginner knowledge of construction equipment & techniques, drawing & specifications, building materials and required standards applicable to the project.
  • Proficiency in using tools such as tape measures, handheld lasers, iPads/Surfaces, and 3D lasers.
  • Strong understanding of construction blueprints and the ability to interpret them accurately.
  • Excellent organizational and data management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
