LSI Staffing Pasadena/Houston has immediate Skilled Machine operator  positions at our client in Northeast  Houston TX.
Pay $17 to $19  2nd and 3rd  shift available. Must be able to train during day and switch to shift later. Available to work weekends and long hours
.


Must have-
General tools, forklift, overhead crane, welding, heavy equipment operator, tape measure reading and machine operator experience in a manufacturing/ fabrication setting. 


Materials:
Carbon steel, Stainless steel, and Aluminum
Physical Demand:
Moderate physical effort handling material, feeding, and operating machine.

Task:

  • Review shop work order for job requirements
  • Checks bearing bar and cross bar material for order compliance
  • Makes sure the setup is correct to meet quality standards
  • Removes finished panels from conveyor and stacks material safely to be moved
  • Work should be visually inspected for any defects while in process and if any found, report to Supervisor for correction
  • Reports any equipment defects to Supervisor
  • Performs other miscellaneous related duties as assigned by the Supervisor
  • Completes a daily production report at the end of each shift
  • Cleans work area daily at the end of each shift
  • Must be able to read measuring tape
Duties-
  • Operate and maintain machines used in the production process
  • Set up machines according to specifications and ensure proper functioning  Monitor machine operations to detect any malfunctions or defects 
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and make adjustments as needed 
  • Weld, fabricate, and assemble parts using hand tools and equipment 
  • Package finished products for shipment or distribution 
  • Handle materials and perform materials handling tasks as required 
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet standards
Experience: 
  • Previous experience as a machine operator or in a similar role is preferred 
  • Familiarity with basic math and measurements 
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and equipment for welding, fabricating, and assembling 
  • Knowledge of SolidWorks or other design software is a plus 
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings 
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
