We need someone who can take a legacy C#/.NET EDI platform and bring it into the modern era and who won't need us to explain what an ISA envelope is.
What You'll Be Doing:
- You're leading the full modernization of an established EDI system. That means defining the target architecture, writing real code every day, and ensuring EDI compliance and business continuity throughout the migration. This is a tech lead role, not a "sit in meetings and draw diagrams" role.
- You'll work with a modern stack (React, Node.js, TypeScript, Go, Ruby on Rails) and design the APIs and integration layers that replace what's there today.
- You'll collaborate directly with the CIO, Tech Leads, and cross-functional teams to keep technical strategy aligned with business goals.
- You'll also provide technical guidance and mentorship alongside your hands-on development work.
Requirements
What Makes You the Right Fit:
- You know your 810 from your 850, you've sent a 997 in your sleep, and you understand the business rules behind each one and not just the segment structure
- You've migrated C#/.NET systems to modern architectures before and have the battle scars to prove it
- You're hands-on in at least a couple of: React, Node.js, Go, TypeScript, Ruby on Rails
- You can talk API design and integration patterns all day
- You're comfortable in a room with both engineers and executives and you can translate between the two
- Strong problem-solving chops and the ability to move fast under tight deadlines
