Hybrid Role: In-office Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. Work from home on Thursday and Friday.

Summary:

Responsible for improving the effectiveness of individuals, teams, and organizations, in support of achieving Sysco’s US Foodservice and Corp business priorities.  Working in partnership with HR and CoE the work includes scoping and executing initiatives related to strategic talent planning, succession, performance management and career development. The role requires strong partnership with business and HR leaders across USFS field and corporate locations.  The role is the conduit between the Global Talent Development Centre of Excellence, HR and USFS.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Reporting to Senior Director, Talent & Leadership Development and based in the Houston headquarters - Office Human Resources.  In this role the incumbent is responsible for full talent business partnering:

  • Partner with the USFS Operations business team, US Specialty companies, corporate functions, Human Resource leaders, to build a strong leadership pipeline able to achieve current and future business objectives.

  • Manage the rollout of key talent processes including talent and succession, performance management, talent pools, HIPO Management, Internal Mobility and Development Planning

  • Provide active support and coaching to HR Business Partners and Leaders on Talent and Performance practices, Support Succession candidates and high-potential development, gather feedback, trends, and insights from their region to the COEs, Interpret and act on strategic talent data, Partner with all groups across GTD on critical needs

REQUIRED MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

  • 7+ years of experience of broad responsibility working cross-culturally creating enterprise focused Talent and or HR in a Fortune 500 organization

  • Proficient in learning platforms and Technologies – Workday, MS Teams preferred

  • Significant experience in business partnering and managing multiple stakeholders e.g. business, HR, Centre of Excellence

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience with a related degree (e.g. Organizational Development, Talent Management, Human Resources) for external candidates but preferred for internal candidates

Work Environment

  • This position is based at GSC, Houston

  • Travel may be required up to 30%+ to Sysco facilities or operating companies.
