Overview
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Credit Compliance Analyst II to support the Director of Credit in a wide range of credit, compliance, reporting and data-driven functions. This mid-level role is suited for an individual who thrives in an independent environment and can manage diverse responsibilities including credit review, reporting automation, and transaction-level risk assessment.

Key Responsibilities
• Directly support the Director of Credit in credit risk evaluation, compliance review and monitoring, as well as reporting addressing changing KPI data points
• Skillset to include ability to perform credit file reviews to ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory standards
• Review real estate transactions to identify potential vulnerabilities, structural risks, or compliance gaps
• Develop and maintain Excel macros (VBA) to streamline/enhance reporting and improve efficiency
• Manage and maintain various databases, ensuring data integrity and accuracy including developing ad hoc reports using SQL database queries
• Prepare detailed credit risk and compliance reports (recurring and ad hoc) using Claude - Excel
• Independently identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies across databases and/or Excel extracts

Required Qualifications
• 3–6 years of experience in credit analysis, banking, or financial services
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VBA/macros
• Working knowledge of database management systems (SQL, PostgreSQL, or similar)
• Strong understanding of credit risk principles and banking compliance requirements
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage a wide range of responsibilities independently

Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, or related field
• Experience reviewing real estate or commercial lending transactions
• Exposure to Python ETL
• Exposure to regulatory expectations related to real estate lending and credit risk

Role Characteristics
• Mid-level individual contributor with a broad scope of responsibilities
• Direct support to Director of Credit with minimal oversight
• Emphasis on accuracy with a high degree of ownership over data accuracy and reporting outputs
• Ideal for candidates comfortable handling both technical data work and transactional review
