Midwest multi-disciplined engineering firm is looking to add a Water Resources Manager to their team in Houston!
Responsibilities:
- Serve as team leader
- Identify Water Resources opportunities and assist with development of expansion plan
- Manage project scope, schedule, and budget
- Lead the development of Hydrologic/Hydraulic models of municipal storm sewer/sanitary collection systems
- Prepare Drainage Studies/Stormwater Masterplans, analysis/design of municipal Stormwater facilities (open channels, culverts, storm sewers, detention basins, green infrastructure), and design of plans/specifications
- Perform QC of stormwater models, reports, and/or design
- Responsible for local, state, and federal permitting
- Prepare proposals and participate in client interviews
- Represent company at municipal meetings

Requirements:
- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on water resources engineering preferred
- 8+ years of experience in the design/management of Stormwater projects
- Experience in Consulting Engineering, Public Works, or Construction
- PE License
- Basic principles of infrastructure design/plan preparation knowledge
- Extensive knowledge of hydrology/hydraulics in the Houston area
- Technical writing skills
- Ability to travel through Houston area with own transportation
