We are seeking a Principal Specialist, Cell Therapy Platforms and Orchestration to support our Global Patient Supply team. The Principal Specialist will be responsible for serving as an additional point of accountability for the design, implementation, and ongoing management of the digital end-to-end value stream system supporting patient-specific supply for make-to-order cell and gene therapies (e.g., autologous cell therapies).
The position is going to contribute to the evolution and growth of the digital Patient Supply capability for Immatics.
The position will aid in master data management, change management, troubleshooting, and validation activities related to the standard upgrades of the digital systems.

What You’ll Do:
The Principal Specialist, Cell Therapy Platforms & Orchestration will support the overall development, integration, modification, operation, maintenance, and retirement of the relevant information system:
Business System Implementation:
Supporting the business function for the design, development, configuration, and deployment of a product within the Immatics CGT Orchestration and Treatment Ordering Platform to enable CGT business processes.
Collaborates with internal teams (Global Patient Supply Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Clinical Operations, Commercial, IT, Computer System Validation) and external partners (Healthcare providers, vendors, implementation partners) to evaluate current and anticipated future needs to design and configure the system.
Supports the processes in scope of the system, may sign off designs and changes to processes. Ensures completeness, integrity and performance of business processes including all documentation.
May take business decisions for the Processes that are in scope (business process changes, business scenarios, master data, organizational set-up, etc.)
Supports the team to ensure the Computerized System and its operation is fit for the intended use and in compliance with applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) throughout its life.
Supports release assessments for each new software release, determines whether a change control is necessary, ensures new releases and deployment meets system specifications.
Change Management and Governance:
Collaborates with other business System Owners that own integrated products within the Immatics digital architecture.
Supports change management activities such as communication, training, and testing in collaboration with other business System Owners.
Supports change controls related to system changes and software upgrades.
Customer Experience and Cell Orchestration Enhancement:
Expands core functionality and enhances the cell therapy customer experience on the cell orchestration digital platform.
Collaborates with operations colleagues to ensure operational excellence by maturing the operational model, identifying and implementing continuous improvement topics.)
Secondary Functions:
esponsible to escalate through the business function any gaps for skill set and availability of resources that are assigned to the program.
Translates the strategic vision and generates a roadmap into product-specific requirements, priorities, and design.
Required Experience and Education:
Bachelor ‘s degree in a related field
Minimum four (4) years of related work experience
Demonstrated success within supply chain, system validation, manufacturing, process development or patient supply related field.
Understanding of cGMP requirements and ICH and regulatory guidance
Preferred Experience and Education:
Masters or an advanced degree
Previous industry experience in a biotech or pharma company
Experience with cell therapies
Good understanding of regulatory requirements related to digital products and services in CGTs (e.g. CSV Framework, GDPR, HIPAA, specific regulations for ATMPs)
Experience with master data management in SAP

Work Environment:
This is a sedentary position (at least 50% of time) in a typical office environment. There may be frequent interruptions with moderate noise levels and frequent use of printers, copiers, scanners, computers and other office equipment. Ability to sit, talk, walk, hear and communicate verbally and in writing is required. Occasional lifting of objects up to 25 lbs is expected.
Travel required: u Up to 10%. Travel to clinical site apheresis centers, company events or professional development may be required.
Physical demands:

Near Visual Acuity – clarity of vision at approximately 20 inches or less (working with small objects, reading small print, including the use of computers).
Pushing - Exerting force upon an object so that the object moves away from the object.
Pulling - Exerting force upon an object so that the object moves toward the force.
Sitting – remaining in a sitting position for at least 50% of the time.
Standing/Walking - remain on one's feet in an upright position at a workstation.
Stooping – occasional bending the body downward and forward by bending the spine at the waist - requiring full use of the lower extremities and back muscles.
