JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Analyst, Finance – Sales & Marketing will play a critical support role in financial planning, reporting, and analysis related to Field Sales and Marketing. This position will assist in providing data-driven insights, financial modeling, and ROI analysis to support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Financial Analysis & Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports, tracking performance against budget and forecast.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Support Leadership in the budgeting and forecasting process, analyzing variances and identifying trends.
- Sales & Marketing Support: Provide financial insights related to sales initiatives and marketing campaigns, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and return on investment (ROI).
- Expense Management: Monitor and analyze sales, marketing, and corporate expenses, ensuring accuracy and identifying opportunities for cost efficiencies.
- ROI Analysis: Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and sales strategies by analyzing financial impact and providing recommendations for improvement.
- Data Modeling & Insights: Build and maintain financial models to support business decisions and scenario analysis.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and GSC teams to gather data, provide financial support, and ensure alignment on financial objectives.
- Process Improvement: Assist in streamlining financial processes, enhancing reporting tools, and implementing automation where possible.
- Compliance & Governance: Ensure adherence to corporate financial policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably supporting sales, marketing, or corporate expense functions.
- Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic corporate environment is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis. Experience with BPC preferred.
TECHNICAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
- ROI & Performance Analysis: Experience in measuring and analyzing the return on investment for marketing and sales initiatives.
- Systems & Tools: Proficiency in financial systems (SAP, BPC, Oracle, Hyperion, or similar) and strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling). Experience with Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to ensure data accuracy and financial integrity.
- Communication & Collaboration: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
- Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to identifying issues and developing solutions to drive efficiency.
