Job DetailsLevel: ExperiencedJob Location: Houston, TX 77051Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: DayThe Receptionist at Texas Pipe & Supply represents the face of a sales-driven organization comprised of 11 companies in the Pipe, Valves, and Fittings (PVF) industry. As a team member of the Human Resources department, this position is responsible for greeting incoming clients, vendors, industry, and executive guests. Responsibilities include responding to general inquiry email, providing general clerical assistance to departments as needed, and supporting a combination of projects throughout the year. The ability to provide excellent “front facing” customer service, while handling a high-volume multi-line VOIP phone software, in combination with thorough project support in a timely and organized manner is crucial to this position. Responsibilities: Answers telephones and provides general information to callers, and/or directs calls to appropriate individuals Assist with office supply orders when necessary Greets visitors Distributes incoming mail General office duties Provides clerical support to the staff Other tasks and projects as assigned by management  Qualifications: Related administrative/office with high volume phone experience. Three or more years of full-time high volume phone expertise and administrative work experience Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities Professional appearance and demeanor  Self-motivated and trustworthy Ability to pass a background check and drug screen  Bilingual (a plus) Skills: Basic computer skills and demonstrated experience with office software and email applications. Ability to follow through and complete assigned tasks. Good organizational skills and attention to detail Good verbal and written communication skills Good customer service and interpersonal skills Education: HS Diploma or equivalent 2-4 years of Receptionist / Front Desk experience preferred  QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS: • 2 - 5 years’ experience in office administration • Bilingual (a plus) • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities • Excellent organizational skills • Accelerated computer skills; ability to adapt quickly to computer software programs • Professional appearance and demeanor • Self-motivated and trustworthy • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen Education and Experience: High school diploma 2-4 years of Receptionist / Front Desk experience preferred
