Primary Responsibilities:

· The CNC Machinist is responsible for the set up and operation of (CNC) VTL, lathes, and NC Mills.

· Check work center status at the beginning of the shift and report any issues to the supervisor in charge.

· Validate programs as required by producing a proof part for review.

· Perform own first article inspection and make adjustments as necessary.

· Perform in-process inspections of production parts to maintain and ensure dimensional accuracy.

· Perform setups, edit programs and run production of parts.

· Use precision gauges, micrometers and other applicable measurement instruments to validate compliance of product.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to perform the essential duties.

Education and/or Experience:

· High School diploma or general education degree (GED).

· Blueprint reading skills and measuring instruments knowledge required

· 1-2 yrs. Experience on CNC Lathes and/or Mills.

· Experience running VTLs or HBM preferred

· Preferred 2+ years of experience on machining.

Pay: From $20.00 - $21.00 DOE per hour
