Position Overview:


The Administrative Assistant (Accounting & Finance) will be responsible for providing support to the Accounting and Finance department with data entry, data management, and general administrative tasks.  The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented and proactive individual and will play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate financial processing by coordinating with internal stakeholders and maintaining organized financial records. 


Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist with data entry and maintenance of financial records (primarily using excel and Sage 300)
  • Support the accounting team with day-to-day administrative and operational tasks 
  • Follow up with internal departments to collect required documentation and information for timely processing
  • Help manage and reconcile credit card transactions 
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of timely processing
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the accounting team

 

Qualifications:



  • High School diploma or equivalent required; some college level courses, or AA degree preferred
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and other standard office software
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and follow-up abilities
  • Familiarity with credit card and expense management processes
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Pre-employment background checks will be required


Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer;
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
