We are currently seeking an experienced, motivated Administrative Assistant to Settlements to join our team in Houston, supporting our Settlements Director. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare and maintain accurate settlement disbursement statements.
  • Audit and reconcile case expenses to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Request, track, and organize updated statements for client files.
  • Communicate with clients daily to provide updates and address inquiries.Ā 
  • Monitor and update Settlement team regarding documents sent, received, or outstanding.Ā 
  • Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned
  • Perform general administrative duties, including document management and data entry.Ā 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.Ā 
  • 5-7 years of experience in a plaintiff injury firm with a focus on settlements.
