At Ascentium Capital, the Customer Service Specialist handles in-bound customer calls regarding account questions and similar matters.

Primary Responsibilities
Receives customer phone calls and resolves issues/concerns if necessary
Researches accounts to discover pertinent information and issues
Determines the best method to resolve problems to ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to company policies
Responds to billing inquiries
Handles the verification of pay histories and quote payoffs
Coordinates problem resolution with appropriate departments
Informs customers of standard procedures or resolutions of problems
Follows up, either verbally or in writing, to ensure customer satisfaction
Works with either close supervision or under clearly defined procedures
This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
This position is incentive eligible.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
One (1) year of customer service experience
Skills and Competencies
Ability to learn additional systems as needed
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to work in a team environment when applicable
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
Strong attention to detail and proof-reading skills
Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills
Strong work ethic and self-motivation
This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.
Compensation Details
Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
