We are seeking qualified applicants for the position of Assistant, Facilities located in Houston, TX.

Summary

We are looking for a resourceful, customer-focused team player who takes pride in creating a seamless, safe, and welcoming environment for our staff. In this vital support role, you will serve as the go-to person for day-to-day office logistics and safety protocols, ensuring our team has the highly functional workspace they need to drive our missions forward.
 

General Description Duties & Responsibilities

• Moving boxes, furniture, or equipment between multiple floors on a regular basis.
• Assists in workstation moves.
• Cleans and maintains all coffee machines and ensure they are in proper working order and available for use.
• Maintains physical space, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional work environment.
• Restocks supplies daily.
• Monitors group mailbox for work order request.
• Retains Certification as a City of Houston Fire Warden and participates in the company’s fire safety/emergency evacuation planning.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Experience

• High school degree
• 2 years of work experience desired
• Excellent organizational skills
• Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
• Demonstrates attention to detail
• Willingness to learn
• Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
• Intermediate knowledge of Office 365 for Mac
• Customer service attitude
