About the Role

As our Assistant Maintenance Technician, you’ll work closely with the Lead Maintenance to ensure the property is well‑maintained, safe, and operating efficiently. This role involves assisting with repairs, preventative maintenance, and providing exceptional service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with routine maintenance tasks, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance repairs
  • Perform HVAC troubleshooting and repairs (AC certification required)
  • Complete work orders efficiently and professionally
  • Help prepare vacant units for new residents (turns/make‑ready)
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas
  • Participate in on‑call rotations as needed
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and property standards

Qualifications

  • AC Certification (EPA Type I/II or Universal required)
  • Experience in the multifamily or residential maintenance industry required
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general building systems
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed
