Duties/Responsibilities: Warehouse Support: Assist the Warehouse Manager in overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and distribution. Ensure proper labeling, organization, and inventory control. Team Supervision: Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to lead and manage warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and support. Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and efficiency among the team. Inventory Oversight: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels through cycle counts, audits, and replenishments. Monitor inventory accuracy and assist in stock management. Process Enhancement: Work with the Warehouse Manager to identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Support efforts to streamline receiving, storage, and distribution procedures. Vendor Coordination: Assist in coordinating shipments with suppliers and vendors, resolving issues, and ensuring timely deliveries. Collaborate on vendor relationships to optimize pricing and service.   QualificationsRequired Skills/Abilities: Solid understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management. Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills. Familiarity with warehouse management software and systems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field is a plus. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse operations, with demonstrated leadership potential. Physical Requirements: The Assistant Warehouse Manager position may require physical exertion, including lifting and carrying inventory and assisting with warehouse tasks
