Your Role at KIK
As a Blow Mold Operator 2 - 2nd Shift (Monday – Friday; 2:00pm - 10:30pm with weekends per business need), you are a key driver of our production performance, responsible for operating, troubleshooting, and optimizing blow molding equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality output. This role is critical to maintaining continuous production flow and delivering finished products that meet strict quality specifications. Success in this position is measured by your ability to minimize downtime, maintain consistent product quality, execute efficient changeovers, and proactively identify and resolve equipment or process issues. You will play a vital role in supporting plant operations through strong technical execution, communication, and adherence to safety standards. This position has a base hourly rate of $24.72. Â
What You’ll Be Doing
- Operate and troubleshoot blow molding machines to ensure continuous, efficient productionÂ
- Start up machines from cold conditions and bring them to full production while meeting all quality specificationsÂ
- Retrieve, evaluate, and adjust PLC programming to optimize machine performanceÂ
- Perform daily machine setups and bottle size changeovers across assigned equipmentÂ
- Conduct quality checks, make machine profile adjustments, and accurately document all changesÂ
- Maintain daily production and quality control records for assigned production linesÂ
- Coordinate with production personnel to ensure efficient process flow and minimize downtimeÂ
- Stay current on process changes by reviewing logs, procedures, and operational updatesÂ
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and support overall housekeeping standardsÂ
- Follow and support all safety programs and policies Maintenance & Troubleshooting:Â Clear machine jams, clean sensors, and perform minor adjustments (e.g., checking belts/chains) to minimize downtime.

What You’ll Bring
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- 2 or more years of experience operating blow molding equipment (uniloy preferred)
- 2 or more years of experience in manufacturing or continuous production environmentsÂ
- Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and adjust machineryÂ
- Familiarity with quality systems and documentation practicesÂ
- Ability to use and maintain basic hand toolsÂ
- Basic computer skills (required)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructionsÂ
- Effective verbal and written communication skillsÂ
- Ability to work safely while remaining alert to machine operations at all timesÂ
- Willingness to work overtime as neededÂ
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background checkÂ
- Ability to stand a minimum of 12 hoursÂ

Physical Requirements
•   Occasionally exert up to 50 lbs of force (up to one‑third of the shift) and frequently exert 10–25 lbs of force (one‑third to two‑thirds of the shift), including lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying parts and tools.Â
•   Regularly handle and move objects up to 10 lbs throughout the shift (two‑thirds or more of the time).
•   Frequently climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, twist, and reach into, under, and around equipment to perform inspections and repairs.
•   Must be able to visually inspect parts, read gauges and displays, and hear audible alarms and equipment signals, with or without reasonable accommodation
