Job Location: 4800 Houston, TX (NorthPoint)
Work days/Shift Hours: Sunday – Friday off Saturday night one other day during week. Start time 7:00 PM
Valid Class A CDL Required, merchandising, grocery stocking experience preferredÂ
Compensation: Starting pay ranges from $24.53 to $30.46 per hour, based on experience. Additional earning opportunities may include performance-based incentives, quarterly bonuses, referral bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.Â
General Purpose
Responsible for driving and delivering pre-ordered product to assigned accounts on specified routes.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Check accuracy and stability of the load. Â
- Deliver product to customer.Â
- Operate industrial vehicles and equipment.Â
- Invoice and collect monies due.Â
- Move, lift and load product and company property.Â
- Secure company assets.Â
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures.Â
- Settle all accounts daily.Â
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid Class-A Commercial Drivers License issued by only one state or jurisdiction with NO INTERSTATE RESTRICTIONS, in accordance with FMSCA guidelines minimum age requirement is 21 years old
- 1 to 3 years of general work experience required.Â
- 1 plus years of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Prior grocery store and/or consumer products is a plus.Â
- Customer service experience preferred.Â
- Ability to operate a two or four wheeled hand-truck.Â
- Ability to operate all types of industrial power trucks.Â
- Familiarity with DOT regulations.Â
- Clean driving record within MVR policy guidelines.
