At WeldFit, the position of CNC Machinist is responsible for operating the CNC Mills in the shop by performing the duties and responsibilities below Machine parts to specifications using machines such as: Horizontal Boring Mills and Vertical Turning Lathes Able to understand and edit G code and M code programs Understand speeds and feeds for machining and proper set ups Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as calipers and micrometers Set up, adjust and operate all machines Check work pieces to ensure alignment and materials onto machines Clean lubricate machines as needed Monitor the feed and speed of the manual and CNC machines Work and think safety at all times  QualificationsEducation/Experience Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent Prior machine shop experience required Must have at least 2-3 years manual and CNC machining Required Skills: Verbal Communication in English English Reading Skills English Writing Skills Time Management Skills Technical Communication Skills Blueprint Reading Skills Mathematic Aptitude Sense of urgency based on priorities
