Commercial Manager, Ammongas – a part of European Energy

Then you might be our new Commercial Manager at Ammongas LLC in Houston, US—a strategic pillar in European Energy’s business portfolio focused on biogas upgrading and CO2 capture and liquefaction.
Ammongas delivers tailored solutions for customers who want to produce green biofuel and green CO2. Our customers range from farmers to large energy groups, and include both national and international project developers.
Your new role
You will win new business across the US and Canada, owning opportunities from first contact to signed agreement. Based in Houston, you will build trusted relationships and work with commercial, technical, legal, and project teams across North America and Europe.
- Prospect and win new business across the US and Canada
- Own the full sales cycle, from discovery and proposal to negotiation and closure
- Build relationships with developers, energy companies, farmers, partners, and other stakeholders
- Translate customer needs into tailored technical and commercial solutions
- Prepare proposals and negotiate scope, pricing, risk, and contractual terms
- Track market, regulatory, and competitor developments to identify growth opportunities
- Represent Ammongas at customer meetings, trade fairs, conferences, and exhibitions
- Ensure a smooth handover of signed projects to execution and service teams
Your profile
- Engineering or commercial background, with strong interest in technical solutions
- Experience in business development, technical sales, or commercial management in a project-based industry
- Oil and gas experience, particularly from service companies, is an advantage; bio-industry experience is not required
- Proactive, results-oriented approach with a demonstrated ability to develop and close business opportunities
- Strong negotiation skills and sound commercial judgment across scope, CAPEX, OPEX, risk, and customer value
- Credible communicator and public speaker who works independently and across international teams
- Fluent English for business communication; able to work from the Houston, Texas area; willing and able to travel approximately 40% across the United States and Canada, including regular trips to Denmark; and legally authorized to work in the United States.
