Position Summary
The Construction Superintendent is responsible for supporting the Construction Engineer or Manager in the execution of construction activities across all project phases. This role ensures that construction work is planned, coordinated, and executed in accordance with project schedules, quality requirements, and health, safety, and environmental standards.
The position provides on-site leadership and technical support to discipline supervision teams, ensuring that all construction activities are properly prepared, efficiently executed, and aligned with project objectives. The Superintendent plays a key role in coordinating field operations, resolving site issues, and maintaining communication between construction teams, field engineering, and project management.
This role requires strong field experience, technical knowledge of construction processes, and the ability to manage subcontractors and supervision teams to ensure safe, high-quality, and timely delivery of construction work.

Key Responsibilities
Functional Responsibilities
- Support execution of construction activities across all project phasesÂ
- Provide technical support to discipline supervision teams to facilitate work executionÂ
- Ensure proper preparation of construction activities prior to executionÂ
- Review and coordinate construction deliverables and site activitiesÂ
- Interface with field engineering for clarification on design and drawingsÂ
- Prepare and manage reports related to construction progress and activitiesÂ
- Assist in preparation and management of extra work orders

Leadership / Management ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Assign work to discipline supervisors and oversee executionÂ
- Supervise subcontractors and ensure proper coordination of activitiesÂ
- Support site leadership in managing daily construction operationsÂ
- Ensure effective communication across construction, engineering, and project teamsÂ
- Identify and escalate issues or impediments impacting construction progress

Compliance / Operational ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Ensure construction activities comply with schedule, quality, and HSE requirements
- Monitor and control construction performance to meet project objectives
- Identify and report deficiencies, risks, or construction issues
- Ensure safe and compliant execution of all site activities
- Maintain adherence to project procedures and construction standards

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction, civil engineering, or related disciplineÂ
- Minimum 10 years of relevant field experience in construction or similar industryÂ
- Strong operational understanding of construction processesÂ
- Strong management and leadership skillsÂ
- Ability to supervise and manage experienced subcontractorsÂ
- Fluency in professional English
