About the Opportunity

The Field Operations Support Coordinator is a traveling, cross-divisional role responsible for providing flexible, on-the-ground support to the Field Operations Support team. Based in Houston, this role deploys on a recurring monthly basis to either of our operating divisions to lead and support new hire onboarding, training logistics, and high-volume coverage periods. The position serves as a key liaison between the two divisions and the Director, Field Operations Support, helping ensure consistency of process, quality of onboarding, and continuity of service across geographies.

 

Essential Functions

  • Coordinate field service support activities with other supervisory personnel and with other departments.
  • Coordinate field service support hiring activities with other supervisory personnel and with other departments.
  • New hire class coordination with training department
  • Implement corporate and departmental policies, procedures, and service standards in conjunction with management team.
  • Interpret and communicate work procedures and company policies to field service staff
  • Prepare work schedules for distribution and coordinate lodging needs for field service staff as directed by Supervisors.
  • Train and instruct employees as it relates to administrative job duties and company policies or arrange for training to be provided.
  • Participate in the recruitment, interview, and hiring process as needed.
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports that may include maintaining spreadsheets and data entry tasks.
  • Management of vendor accounts that includes user set up and maintenance.
  • Accounts payable tasks related to invoice processing and general ledger coding.
  • Meeting and event coordination
  • Develop, implement, and maintain operational support systems to make them more efficient.
  • Document receipt of all new assets into management systems - such as Samsara and Service Max.
  • Coordinate proper DOT and safety inspections of equipment with appropriate personnel. Maintain documentation for such inspections through appropriate system.
  • Manage the assignment, inscription, or label identification markings on all assets.
  • Maintain work order initiation and track completion of annual registration on assets.
  • Plan, coordinate and conduct periodic inventories of assets. Update records accordingly.
  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner

Qualifications

Experience/Education

  • Excellent communications, presentation, interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • 5+ years working knowledge of PC applications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Power Point, Word
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including familiarity with pivot tables, look-up formulas and mathematical formulas
