Custodian and Handyman

Job DetailsJob Location: Houston, TX 77041Salary Range: $16.00 HourlyWe are looking for a Custodian / Handyman to help keep our warehouse, offices, and common areas clean, organized, safe, and well maintained. This position includes routine cleaning duties as well as basic handyman tasks and general facility upkeep. Responsibilities: Clean and maintain warehouse, office, restroom, breakroom, and common areas Sweep, mop, scrub floors, and keep aisles, walkways, and work areas free of debris Empty trash, break down boxes, and take trash/cardboard to designated disposal areas Sanitize high-touch surfaces and replenish cleaning and restroom supplies Perform basic handyman tasks, including minor repairs, touch-ups, and general maintenance Hang shelves, pictures, signs, and similar office or facility items as needed Assemble, move, or adjust small furniture, shelving, carts, and storage items Replace light bulbs, tighten loose fixtures, and report larger maintenance issues Follow safety procedures and perform other cleaning or maintenance duties as assigned Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Ability to work independently and manage tasks in multiple areas of the facility Basic handyman skills and comfort using common hand tools such as a drill, screwdriver, hammer, tape measure, level, and step ladder Ability to complete simple repairs and maintenance tasks safely and with attention to quality Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch Ability to work in warehouse and office environments with loud noises and temperature changes Strong commitment to safety, cleanliness, organization, and reliable attendance Schedule, Pay and Benefits: Monday through Friday 7am to 4pm schedule $16/hr, paid weekly Benefits and PTO begin after 60 days Company paid Life/AD&D and short-term disability 401(k) match Major holidays off
