As Director-Network Services, you will lead large, multi-disciplinary teams responsible for the end-to-end performance of complex network infrastructure. You will translate enterprise strategy into operational execution, ensure regulatory and environmental compliance, and drive reliability, efficiency, and service excellence across markets. Your leadership will directly impact customer experience, operational continuity, and long-term network evolution.
What you’ll do
Lead, develop, and coach managers, engineers, and technicians through structured performance management, training, and engagement rhythms
Oversee planning, deployment, maintenance, and daily operations of wireless, wireline, VOIP, video, and data network services
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements while supporting environmental obligations tied to network operations
Monitor network performance metrics, manage budgets, improve productivity, and report operational risks and outcomes to senior leadership
Identify and mitigate operational risks, manage escalations for high-severity network incidents, and resolve complex service-impacting issues
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to execute market-level service activation plans and contribute to regional and national initiatives
What you’ll need
Experience leading large-scale network operations across wireless, wireline, voice, video, and data services
Proven ability to oversee complex network deployment, maintenance, and operational support environments
Strong background in regulatory, compliance, and performance management within network services
Ability to manage budgets, operational costs, and workforce productivity
Hands-on experience resolving high-severity outages and infrastructure escalations
What you’ll bring
Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) preferred
10+ years of related experience in network services, infrastructure operations, or telecommunications
Demonstrated success leading large organizations, including managing managers and career-level professionals
Experience influencing hiring, promotion, disciplinary, and compensation decisions
Leadership experience aligning technical execution with enterprise strategy

Environmental Requirements: This position may be responsible for contributing to compliance by AT&T with environmental laws and regulations as applicable to its job function. This may include, but is not limited to, work related to hazardous waste, hazardous materials, batteries, manholes and vaults, linear and other construction projects.Â
Our Director-Network Services earns between $174,100 - $261,100 annually.  Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training. Â
